Typical Monday

This was probably the funniest and most entertaining 10 minutes of the semester so far. Here goes.

So I have my own trash can by my desk, which I bought for personal use. Now, Spicy uses it too because we're in the same area, and I don't mind at all since she takes the trash out just as often as I do. There are also two other cans in the center of the room that everyone else generally uses.

For the first time ever probably, I witnessed Party and Queen Bee take out the trash, all the while complaining about how much garbage they produce (what, you haven't noticed that they've been overflowing like 24/7 all last semester too?). Anyway, they decided to take the trash out. WHOA.

Then they come back from the trash closet, and Party says something about how she couldn't fit it in the bin. I mean I haven't looked at it today, but I'm sure that if she had pushed it down a little it would have fit. But I think I remember her saying she left it in the hallway outside the door? Gross.

Queen Bee then comes over to Spicy and asks to have trash bags, thinking she magically has some all the time because she's the one who usually takes out their trash. I have no idea why she does that. Spicy tells her that she doesn't have any. And Queen Bee's face is about priceless at this point. She has no idea what to do. Apparently the bag of trash bags hanging in the trash closet, where they just were, didn't have the neon sign lit up and screaming at the bimbos.

So Queen Bee goes back the closet and comes back with trash bags, and I spend a minute or two watching her as she tries to figure out how to open the trash bag. In that moment, I realized that I don't think she's ever opened a trash bag in her life. She tries opening it from two ends, like picking at it with her nails is going to open it. False. Not the best approach. Meanwhile, out of her mouth comes the funniest phrase ever. I didn't hear the first half, but all I need is the second half: "...or am I just stupid?"

Perfect.

I really had to contain my laughter. I really just wanted to simply answer "Yes" but I know there would be a fight. So I held it in. But seriously. It took her and Party just to open a trash bag.
